In-Depth Photo Illustrations

This photo is made into art obviously. Its of a memorial of the war in Iraq and i like this image, cause its dripping down, i like the effects i guess you can say. and i like how there is little pictures in the photo all surrounding one picture.

Its a realistic alteration, this picture is representing the 5sec rule.and you can tell that pictures were layered.i like this picture because its really representing what its saying.and having the food falling and the stop watch, its kinda cool.
This picture is a composite image.and its about transferring old records to digital format.
i like this picture cause its unique
This picture is a staged illustration.its called Murder can be fun & you can tell it was set up.i like this picture because it has a lot of details.and you can see what is happening.and how the title of the picture is refferring to the actual picture.

Photo illustration Preview.

I liked the challenge number 3.
were they are trying to describe left handed people since
its "international lefthanders day" and how they are trying to celebrate
their specialness and differences.
The photos on the page we're famous little pictures of famous people
that are left handed. and they put a huge picture of kermit the frog
holding up his left hand making him left handed, with the words right
next to him "left-handed & loving it." I thought that was pretty unique.
Instead of using a actual person whos left handed they use a Puppet. :)
I guess it was made in software and stuff.

Zone -
Staying in zone is a technique that helps getting a great action picture, you focus the camera on a place that you exactly want your picture at. (which is your zone) when action passes by you just take the photo.

Focus-
Focus, uh hard to do on a action photo. on an action photo.
its where your picture isnt blurry and what not. that means your picture is in focus.

Shutter Speed-
High shutter speed to capture still action. A low shutter speed is for light.

Panning-
placing the shutter speed low. doing this, it will give you a Good Blur.

#15.
Favorite.
"This cover of Harper’s Bazaar is a photograph of model
Jean Shrimpton by photographer Richard Avedon.
The cover of Shrimpton peering from behind a
bright pink Day-Glo space helmet was designed
by Art Directors Ruth Ansel and Bea Feitler.
This photograph, with the Harper’s Bazaar logo
vibrating against it in acid green has been
often reproduced as an emblem of the sixties."

Gordon Parks and Langston Hughes

read about 6min.
my favorite poem was,
"Children's Rhymes"
By what sends
the white kids
I ain't sent:
I know I can't
be President.
What don't bug
them white kids
sure bugs me:
We know everybody
ain't free.
Lies written down
for white folks
ain't for us a-tall:
Liberty And Justice--
Huh!--For All?

Langston Hughes

This photo is a Formal Photo.
The lady is dressed formal and what makes it even more formal
is that its black and white.
its kinda dark but the fact that the lightest parts of
the picture are kinda all on her is what makes it good.
she is facing the camera therefore she knew she was
taking a picture and she is leaning back on the chair
she is modeling..

Cover History

1.Early magazine Covers.
are the kind that usually showed the title and the table of contents.
basically it was just the front, and a whole bunch of text. no picture or anything to
catch the readers eye or anything.
2.The poster Cover.
they had a poster like picture on the front, something you would like to hang
on your wall or so.
3.Pictures married to type.
is a picture that has text showing what the magazine is about.
had the title the pcituer and text.
4.In the forest of words.
has the title a picture and a sideline of words.
